3.5 swap slowly but surely
Just some photos of the parts I'm gathering up... MexiMax hooked it up.. hella bad. This is the Upper/Lower intake manifold, also got my injectors, fuel rail, and TB for my 3.5 swapp. I
might be heading out to Austin tonight, and I'll possibly be picking up my motor
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=487455 thanks to 95 Maxima Se.
All thats left for me to get would be my coils....
Once I get the main componets for the swap... I'll start buying all the extra power goodies....
I already got some things for next month:
12lb Fidanza Flywheel
3" warpspeed y-pipe
B&M STS
Cryo'd Gears and bearings for the 96 tranny
Phantom Grip (i've never had issue with it before)
Place Racing CAI
Raxles axles
Polyurthen Motor Mounts
ARP Head Bolts and Studs
Everyone says this swap is expensive... all in all, its not the motor thats expensive... i think its all the extra stuff you have to get for it.. I've spent roughly $600 and less for the motor. It feels good to finally do it. I always said I would.... and just never did. But now that I got the parts in hand.. it just gets me more hyped to do it.. My build will be following MexiMax's setup, practically... of course with some minor tweaks and changes... but I'm looking for 240+ whp all motor and possibly 400whp with Nitrous... big dreams I know, but I think I can pull it off... oh and further more. MexiMax is a cool guy, very knowledgable and helpful. Mad Respects to him.
Cant wait to be the only 3.5swapped maxima in my area code.

I've always been told once you look inside of it you can see everything that is "restrictive" and then you just remove and/or grind it away.
