hey i am in the process of building a 3.5 engine to swap into my 4th gen. i bought a 3.5 water pump but am unsure if it will work with the 3.0 timing chains. does it matter or can i use either one? sorry for the newb question i just want to get this figured out before i start something big and have to stop halfway through.

 

3.0 water pump = 3.0 chain and sprockets
3.5 water pump = 3.5 chain and sprockets

NOT interchangeable.
