Flywheel rust?

OK Hey I left this laying in the shop and it seems to have a little surface rust on it you can see it at the top in the pic. What should I do about it before Install it?

oh thats caca, 400-600grit sand paper should take care of most of it. Some will still be there but dont worry about it. Thats actually less rust than my old fidanza had on it. Inever installed it, but the guy I sold it to just sanded it down, sprayed brake parts cleaner, and installed it. No problems for him. Good luck!

If you have a dremel, use a cookie wheel to polish it off.

don't bother. just install the damn thing. it'll burn off the first time you engage the clutch.

Yeah why sand it, the clutch will essentially do it for you.

I wasnt sure if it would cause any ploblems with the clutch or not!
