Sounds like a throw out bearing

I suspect throwout bearing as well.
I thought of maybe you got air in the clutch line (maybe you changed the slave cylinder and it got air in it). But if there was air in it I would think that you wouldnt be able to get it into gear with engine on OR off. Unless you're talkin about shiftin the tranny w/o pressing the clutch.
And dont worry meng. After what you've done at this point, dropping the tranny is no big deal, lol. But yea I know what you mean.

the fork is moving ..the pedal inside the car feels stiff and does not want to go in and out

sounds to me like an issue with the slave cylinder. maybe the slave cyl is jammed. I had a similar incident happen where my slave cylinder wasn't engaging the fork/tob and it wouldn't go into gear (except it would when the car wasn't on). It was really hard to get it in gear when the car was on and I had to basically shove it in or rev match to get it into gear. The Slave Cyl just wasn't engaging that tob to move out far enough

yeah thats what a few other people have been saying also..what do you suggest? i do get a new slave cylinder?

well, first I'd make sure it's engaging the TOB fork (and arm on the outside of the transmission).
If it fully engages that arm and you still aren't getting anywhere with the shifting, you might have a problem inside the transmission.
If it doesn't engage the arm or doesn't engage it enough, bleed your hydraulic system and make sure the slave cyl is working properly. Take it off before you bleed it and have someone push the clutch pedal in to make sure it extends itself.
If that doesn't work and the arm still doesn't move, I'd refer back to what I said about it being something inside the transmission.

just do what everyone else said. check for fluid...check for air in the line...you said the fork is moving...so i doubt its either of those. its probably just the throw out bearing.

ok well i checked the fluid again and the slave to see if it was moving in full and yes they are both good ..the clutch is still engaged im guessing?lol..what else could it be then?

Sorry to see that... I think it's really a hit or miss thing with SPEC. I've seen some people go thru them like you do when other people like myself haven't had any problems with them. Sure makes me second guess about buying from them again.

My SPEC 3 chattered a little at first but after about 1K miles, and a blimp of throttle play, it went away. I have not had any problems with mine since I put it in a year and half/two years ago. Its been thru a 125shot and turbo now. It'll be in my 3.5 turbo until probably end of this year. I may go with something else next time.

wow yea this sucks. That first person that it happened to i believe it was tavarish when his car was stolen right after the swap.
But I have a Spec Stage2 and have had no problems at all. And same as jcy98maxse it did chatter a little the first thousand miles, but it went away after that. While it did it I would just rev it a bit higher during slippin the clutch for 1st gear and that avoided it. Im happy with it.
