Ok Just got dont changing timing ring and making a new turbo set up. Got it all done and fired it up to drive. I put it in gear and the car just revs up and will not pull at all. The car sound like its going in to gear but will not pull or grind or nothing just free rev. Im pretty sure The clutch is in the right direction. But what eles can I trouble shoot or what did I do wrong?

The car will go into gear with it running and will not move. Also you can cut the car off and put it in gear and the car will just free roll.

VLSD or open diff? If open diff, check to make sure you have the right axles (unless you used the same ones) and that they're fully seated in the trans.

It's either a clutch or axle problem, and I don't believe you can even physically fit the pressure plate over the clutch disk if it's in backwards... That's how it is on most cars that I've worked on, anyway, never done a 5MT Max.

Sounds like axles.. I didn't see how you can mess up the clutch install when I did mine.

It should leak like a sieve if the axles aren't fully seated, yes. That's the only thing I can think of though. Although I guess it's possible that one of the CV joints completely obliterated itself and is spinning seperately inside the boot, but the chances of that even being remotely likely are...slim to none.

For now, I'd say jack her up, put it in gear and see what happens underneath.

EDIT: You did...hook up the shift linkage, right? I know, the shifter would all kinds of just move around without it hooked up, but simple things first...

if you dont have vlsd, then you can very much be putting all the power to the axle that is not connected. it LOVES to do that. (giant one leggers FTMFL)
