just got the car back from the shop. had it tuned and dynoed.

as of now the car has 247hp to the wheels. which makes me kinda happy.
my goal is at least 300 hp n/a/ dont know if thats possible but im going to try.


looking for a decent set of cams for the 2003 max VQ35.
not too cheap and not too expensive.
any good brands? any bad brands to stay away from?

 

no one makes cams for the 3.5. sorry.

I think a list of your current modifications would help. Not with the cam choice, but with alternatives prior to cams. (Easier/less time/$)

I would like to clarify that I'm not against cams in any way. Just that IMO, doing everything you that you possibly can before cracking open the engine is better time/money spent.

When all out of options, then head toward that way.

Yep. It makes sense though, why do cams if there are still other bolt ons you can do that dont require opening up the engine. I guess it would be like doing cams or oversize valves before doing your typical intake/headers/catback + tune.

If the OP would list his current mods, there are many knowledgeable people here who could point him in the right direction!
