TB restrictor, bored TB, larger MAF (A33A)

Just wanted to start a little discussion to see some views.

So I removed the TB restrictor plate. Now the thing that I realized (and this is based on eyeballing estimate) is that the intake manifold is now larger then the TB hole itself. This seems like a great mod. The response is greatly improved in top end (no I have no Dyno's Nmex). However trying to stir up a discussion here on views or if a lurker around has done this on a DEK in full. I plan on tackling this. Within the the next couple weeks I will try to get actual measurements. I defintely think there is a lot of potential this motor has once the Restrictor plate is removed, bored the TB to match and larger MAF then tuned.

Oh for sure. I can see a larger MAF benefiting this setup once you look at the porting, slightly larger opening with the plate removed and Pathy TB.

The Pathy plate is a bit pricey so I'm going to see if porting the stock DEK TB would be cheaper. I have 2 weeks of vacation starting next week. Should be able to work on some more info with this setup. I am going to get a baseline Dyno before I start tampering then get an after with a tuned SAFC and go from there. Hopefully a WB coming in soon to aide with the larger MAF and tunning.
