EB Fuel Trims - Now I'm confused
I finally got the EB working, and found out that it had a gold version of the firmware installed on the main unit and the support tool couldn't see it. Anyway, I did some baseline runs with the Innovate LC1 wired in with the A/F harness and logged some runs using the EB to log. Three runs and it is running around 12.xx at WOT up to redline. I know, nothing unusual there. I pulled fuel (-2 value )from 40% TP up and from 3k RPM and it runs better and is hanging around the 13.4 range. Just as a second way to verify, I did a few more runs with just the LC1 using the Logworks software, and it is reading 11.xx. Now I'm confused. Maybe it just needs recalibrated or something.
I'm assuming the EB when it displays A/F value, it is % air to fuel, because in closed loop it is showing 14.7.
Am I missing something here?

You can recalibrate the LC1, but you have to wait 5-6 hours for the gases to evacuate the the pipe. I recalibrated today and made some more runs. I'll have to do some analysis of the data files and see what is happening.
i'm confused. are you saying that your LC1 is showing a one AFR on the unit itself but the emanage blue is showing a drastically different AFR, which it is also getting from the same LC1?

That's mostly right Neal. The LC1 is hooked to the EB by way of the A/F harness. I loggged a number of baseline runs with the EB and made some trims from 40% TP up to WOT. I logged some more runs with the EB and it was much closer to 13.5 at WOT. I then logged a run with just the LC1 Logworks software and it was showing 11.27 at WOT. I let the car sit overnight and then recalibrated the LC1. I plan to log another run using the LC1 Logworks software just to see where it is reading.
how does the AF harness for the EB work? I've never even heard of it. Is it just plug and play? Does it assume a linear relationship between voltage and AFR? I'm assuming the LC1 has a linear 5v output on it.

The A/F harness for the EB is actually the same harness as the EU and plugs directly into the boost port. Two wires: one to the 0-5v output from the LC1 and the other to ground. I presume it is linear, as the EB recognizes the signal as voltage, and displays A/F ratio. I did a little test on my way to the office today, I displayed both the Logworks software and eManage real-time display and both A/F ratios were very close. The disparity in recordings the other night could very well have been a calibration issue. I really just need to get it on a dyno and do the A/F tuning properly.
