I tried to look at the oovi links but some are still broken. Basically I found two ways of hooking up the oovi. One is to use the upper and lower manifold from the oovi and having to use the 5th gen coil packs and splicing the 5th gen fuel rail to the 4th gen harness correct?

Then in another thread you could just use the upper oovi manifold and get the 4th gen lower manifold redone by and org member here so that they will both match up. I don't know if thats all the work involved in this version of the swap.

So my question is, do both methods produce the same results or does one not perform as well?

IMHO, if you use the 4th gen lower it is more work and you won't have the 5th gen injectors which may come in handy down the road. However, if you use the 5th gen lower & injectors and don't have some way of tuning your car than you will be running richer than if you went the 4th gen lower route and won't see the full potential.

Also, use the 5th gen IACV, it does work.

Thanks for the info! Couple more questions, when you say the 5th gen injectors may come in handy down the road, do you mean like for FI use? Also with the 5th gen IACV should I use it if I go either route with the swap?
