clutch issues
I have a VE swapped third gen that just got a new clutch. Got the kit from http://www.euro-drive.com/ and I am using a stillen flywheel with a new friction surface.
After many hours and solving the many issues that I was presented with during the job (everything from bad fastners to wrong parts) I have the car back together. I bled the line and tried to go for a drive and after one trip around the block she won't go into gear. Seems like it's not disengaging properly.
I really REALLY don't want to tear down again. What should I be doing to diagnose this issue?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys!

I've bled it a few times, even took the slave right off so I could bleed it with the bleeder valve facing up (the line comes in on the opposite side in this case). I also tried to push the lever/fork past the point that the slave pushes it when someone is on the clutch and I can't seem to do so... seems like it's getting full travel.
I'm out of ideas for now, but I do have a question. On the back of the release fork there is a thin little clip that snaps over the pivot by the input shaft. Is the sole purpose of that part to hold the fork in place. When I have the slave off and I move the fork it feels like that clip may be detached. When the salve is on it seems to move properly though.
I realize this is not advanced performance.. however this car did recently receive an engine swap and I've graduated from hot air intakes and the likes. There are better answers to be had in here. Plus, I read this forum every day and it HAS been a bit slow in here lately.

First of all, thanks for all of your help so far..
Here is my plan of attack to resolve this.
Double check tranny fluid level.
Double verify that the lever is getting full travel.
Make triple sure there is no air in the line.
Drop the tranny and inspect:
the pivot point
all mating surfaces
If there is ANYTHING anyone can suggest that I check BEFORE dropping the tranny I would appreciate it. As you would imagine this is the last thing I want too do.
