a few questions about a 3.5 motor

is the maxima 3.5 block and crank the same quality as a 350z block?

im working on a 2004 350z the oil pump blew up and the rod bearings welded themselves to the block. I found a member on here that has a block for sale but before I buy it I wanted to make sure that everything is the same.

I was thinking maybe the cranks could be different as far as what they are made out of and how strong they are.

are the blocks same? like can I just use a maxima block and drop it into the z?

1. Same internally.

2. FWD block, FWD car. RWD block, RWD car. Won't just "drop in" otherwise.

Maxima heads = non-revup 350Z heads. Only difference with the revup heads is stiffer valve springs. Other than that, they're identical.
