SSIM 3.5 intake mod
I'd rather have the high end as well so im gonna do the ssim mod and then maybe down the road mess with the variable just to see the difference. What exhaust r u running on yours?
I don't have a swap, mine is an 03.
Those tests have already been performed.

. Unless you have a spare IM laying around. That link is ALSO comparing full open and full closed of the VI. Read it again
Ya ill read it again. But i have two intake manifolds right now that y i was sayin ill mess with both later. I was just tryin to decide to put on first cause i wont have time till later to switch them.
And the max tuning VB mod. Jime did a high ( can't remember the RPM) stall converter too, so your statement is a little vague and misleading.
Also, you're right. I'm sure Maximum Tuning can do several levels of shift kits for the VQ35 automatic. They did my shift kit over 5 years ago and I still love it!
Also, right now, Jime is working on an automatic tranmission controller which should be able to control up and down shift points precisely as well as torque converter lockup points in every gear. That will be VERY useful for all types of racing. But most people will like the fact that rigging up paddle shifters will be easy with this controller. That's not what I need though for drag racing. I leave it in D and hang onto the steering wheel with both hands while the tranny shifts at the correct points.
