How hard to convert FWD VQ to RWD VQ?
Not saying I want to convert my Maxima to RWD but I have a FWD VQ35 sitting in my garage that I was wanting to drop into a certain 240sx and I was just wanting to know how hard it would be to basically convert it to the point to where it would drop right in a 350z or G35, would all I have to do is put a 350/G35 clutch/flywheel/tranny??? Sorry for the noob question but I just figured I would ask......
The RWD VQ35's actually do have the mount holes in the center of the block, not the rear of the block like the FWD VQ's. To use the VQ30 in a RWD chassis I'm having to make mounts that extend rearward to align w/the block holes. You can check out he progress here if you like:
