350z fuel pump in 3.5 4thgen....

OK guys, im not sure if this has been talked about before but i was running my stock fuel pump for the longest time with the swap. Now that my pump died, i tried my friends spare 350z fuel pump.
for the longest time, i was only running around 42 psi on my stock pump, but now, after i put the z pump, my pressure went up to 54psi.
I remember asking on this forum if the z fuel pump would fit and work, no one had anything to say.
Fitment seems pretty much perfect.
sorry if it has been discussed before, but if not, im glad to be chiming in some new knowledge to the forums.

Peter

I'd heard they were interchangeable in terms of fit but it's good to know.

Have you actually verified that your AFR is lean?

his WB02 shows it's lean around 15.1 at WOT. Couldn't really figure out what's wrong.
we were suspecting his WB02 sensor went bad, but didn't really check it yet.

well i got mine for free from a friend of mine with a z but he said that they are selling them for like $20 bucks on the forums...

and as far as my WB02, i believe the sensor is broken....
when im on WOT, it shows --- and when im off the pedal the WB bounces back and forth from 13's to --- and sometimes when im driving normally, it bounces back and forth and sometimes it stays on ---. It is really random so i have no idea what is going on...

and i have a question... When the cat is bad, can this cause the readings to go bad?

Depends. Is the sensor before or after the cat?

First of all that sensor SHOULD be before the cat on the ypipe (since being in cali, you HAVE to run a cat). That way in case the cat goes bad, you'd still get an accurate reading.

uhmm... well i do have the sensor right after frontbank and rearbank pipes meet. I smell lean when i go to the back of the car.
my guess is i got a combination of broken sensor and bad cat
