WRONG PATHY TB??

***UPDATED.. step inside...***

im bugg'n out guys. i got my pathy tb in the mail and i tried mounting it up to the adapter plate and either im mentally challenged or somethings wrong, but it dont fit and theres 3 lines at the top in the way. the tb is from a 01 pathy. pics below.. help appreciated

Is that the EGR on the bottom? What year did it come off of? BTW, you need to clean that before you install it

the yard i got it from told me it came from an 01 pathy. and the tag says 01 pathy TB on it. i saw other pics of a pathy tb and this is not the same. i just wanna make sure its def not the right one before i call them and tell them its not the right 01.

if it doesnt look the same at all, then its not the same. call em tell em its the wrong TB and send it back for the correct one.

called the place i got it from (chuck and eddies in ct) and they were like no biggie. i sent em pics of what its supposed to look like and they had the right one arrive here today and ups picked the old one up. couldnt beat it! great customer service!

correct, you cannot use that. i took it off and used jb weld instead of a block off plate. its been on my car for 3 years now and no issues

heres some after pics of the right TB shown before in post #13. i completely cleaned the entire TB inside and out and hit it with a wire wheel. she came out great!!

looks real clean... you can sleak it down even more, and i think youll see why some people make plates. you just filled in the hoe connection. i took that whole peice off, where the 4 screws connect it on. then i filled it w/ jb. its still easy and the TB will be a lot smaller/lighter/cleaner looking. try it out

ya Looks clean man, now the only thing left to do is EVERYTHING haha. Keep us posted on the install i am looking to do the same mod.
