SSIM... ?

I've been trying to get ahold of KRRZ350 to have a 3.5 manifold cut up.. but, no response.. Is he still doing these?

I have 2 manifolds that I need the shelves cut out for customers of mine..

Travis, if you're on a deadline to get these done for projects, save the $ and time and do it yourself.

All you need for it is a reciprocating saw ($25 from Harbor Freight) with some ubber long blades (at one point I actually managed to use a metal hacksaw blade on the recip. saw LOL, wiggled all over the place at first but I just kept it slow and it worked fine). Then all you do is smooth out the cuts with a dremel with a sanding drum. Shouldn't take you more than an hr to cut it up.

I would offer but Im pretty tight on time with 2 jobs and school. But really an SSIM is a do-it-yourself'er.

yeah if i recall its just basically gutting the manifold.

Yeah.. I guess a recip. saw will get in there.. I didn't think about that..

I was trying to figure out how to cut the shelf out, without spending hours with my porting bits.

Thanks for the heads up.. I'll head to lowes for a long blade..

Good luck meng. Really it shouldnt take you more than an hour per IM if you already have them out.
