hard starting "IS IT THE CAMS"

I have few problem the last couple of months my car is hard starting, hesitating during start up, it sometimes takes me 2 tries or 6 tries due to this its killing my start quick, I did a full tune up...not to sure what to do next if I need more time on the dyno or a heavy duty starter since I have the JWT CAMS WITH ECU TUNED....DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY RESULTS...

Any trouble codes? How does the car idle? Did you adjust the idle after you installed the cams?

You have all these mods and not a VI... wow that thing must b a torq monster. Check fuel pressure, spark, and compression. These are the main things that make your car start. Go to walmart get a fuel pressure and compression tester use them and the return them... I think autozone sells something to check your spark. I think a multimeter would work though. Also check your injectors to see if there okay. Alot of this can be eliminated by trouble codes. But i think since you replaced the cams maybe a gasket got broken which is causing a compression leak maybe??

Iron Lung had the same set-up, albeit a few differences, and that was a fairly mean beast.

That's real nice...

Back on topic, key the ignition on a couple times to prime the fuel pump before you actually crank it over. If it fires right up you may have a fuel pump getting weak on you.
