are you talking about the correct way to face it as far as flow?
point the can with the arrow coming from your pcv valve if thats the case.

also, what vacuum leak are you talking about? the valve thing on the bottom to release all the oil?

if the valve wasnt seated right then it might have leaked,.. u might have been able to play with it and get it right.. oh well silicone works...unclear on what you were asking.. the 'cup' should remain down so gravity can hold the oil in there ..like this ' U ' lol..also many find, including myself, that removing the hard white filter thingy allows it to collect more oil....oh and there is an arrow indicating flow on the device,.. it only catches one way or else u will block airflow... the correct direction is from the pvc into the intake mani. hope that clears things up

I must have installed mine wrong because it NEVER collected any oil. A few initial drops and then nothing more.

Strong bump, but i feel this thread was left unanswered.

My Husky catch can also has the described valve that doesn't close under vacuum. Only under pressure. What did the valve look like on those who didnt have this vacuum leak problem?
