MEVI - Stock ECU

With the MEVI swap can the stock ECU adjust above 5500rpm enough to
stop you leaning out or do you need a piggy back like a S-AFC

yes you need a SAFC or a VAFC to adjust and to activate the MEVI but you cant just adjust your stock ECU to activate the mevi

yes it improves performance, and it's easier than 00VI direct replacement of your USIM
MEVI and spacers = :O
if IIRC the mevi add between 10 and 15hp

Yes the MEVI is a good choice especially with NWP spacers. However I would also look into trying to find a technosquare or JWT ECU with the raised limiter or else its kinda pointless to get the MEVI.

wrong

even with a stock ecu I picked up a few mph and tenths in the 1/4 and how 30hp at redline but lost about 8tq at 3500 to 4000

I have a Summit RPM switch for the activation

Question is, Will the car run lean on a stock ECU, do you need to adjust the AF after 5500rpm as it wasn't meant to make power past there.

I also have a Cefiro (JDM Maxima) which has MEVI, automatic and stock rev limit so there is some gains still with stock ecu (need to know for my manual maxima)

a stock maxima ecu will run rich over 5500rpms, I dyno'd my car along with along org member with a stock ecu and mevi and we both ran rich
