Hey im wondering, How do you have the fuel setup done? Will this engine be stayin n/a? reason I ask is because there are a few options as to how to go about the fuel rail. Wanted to know how your doing it, I still dont know how to go about that for my turbo 3.5

Also check out the Sentra forums, there's a lot of good info just waiting for you to search for it.

Glad to see you taking your project to the next level..
Kevin's car was one of our original VQ swaps, years ago.. and, still going strong!
Good luck, and you/chris hit me up if you need help.

My wife and I made a mutual decision to have a local performance shop do the work. I'm busy working on a project with my company and just doing it yourself isn't work it with the deal we found locally to have it done. The shop is Premiere Performance in Pembroke Pines and Nigel will be doing the build. He's a Nissan guro.
Aaron at NWP Engineering with be doing the headwork and intake manifold work for this build.
Finally the rest of it arrived in the mail.
ACL Race Rod Bearings, ACL Race Main Bearings, Thrust Washers, Wiseco Piston 11:1 High Comp 96MM (.20over), Eagle H Beam Rods & ARP Rod Bolts

hows the short block coming?
this going to fly
i have about 6000 miles and over 60 track runs with pretty much the same set up.
no engine probs at all
i imagine you are getting impatient
they seem to take forever
but, then its suddenly done, and you will enjoy it for years to come
enjoy it

I’m thinking of running the nismo 145* thermostat
And maybe a better radiatior
The real prob was too much timing advance for the heat [0ver 100* and humid]
Should have used unleaded race gas too
I switched to iridium plugs one heat range colder
and added some Amsoil octane booster
Looking for an e85 gas station here too
hard lessons
thankfully learned
can't wait to see ,and hear your beast
i think you will love it
its a different car, again. lol

what standalone are you going with it ?
I dont mean to burst anyone bubbles but I havent heard anything postive about premeire from the guys Ive talk to.
I hope this isnt the case and hope you have your motor up and running.

I haven't decided yet on which tuning but probably Haltech or Pro Efi. I'm still talking to tuners down here, Nigel isn't tuning the car. I just stopped by the machinist yesterday and checked out everything, they said it's all done and good to go, paid in full, now it's back to the shop and will up and running next week.
Not sure if you heard of our standalone either
http://www.emeraldm3d.com/em_m3dk.html
We have a customer with a VQ S14 that is wired up to the Standalone as well.
I heard Roger at Japtrix is pretty good with the VQs
I would give my buddy Crispeed ,( if its a haltech) or Steven @ Wrighttouch
PM me if you need their #'s
As for the nigel thing, I guess its a 50/50 , I went with school with MTR Manic , He has never done me wrong but Ive heard other stories.
Again Im not bashing on anyone nor bias because I work at a shop.
your project is looking good, not sure if you know Aaron is doing a mini meet on the 29th next week in WPB.
I hope to have my car back to make it out there so maybe we will cross paths
