I'm thinking of doing a swap: putting an '02 3.5L and 6spd in my 2000 3.0 5spd. Have there been a lot of people doing this? I saw that most swaps were 4th gen to 5.5 gen, but I haven't seen many references of a 5th to 5.5th gen.

 

Did you search for information? It's been covered a bit.

For the VQ35, the swap is virtually the same, minus the injector pigtails.

For the 6MT, it should be pretty similar too. I know that the 6MT swap has been covered before in an A33.

 

I swaped mines out. but im still useing my 5speed tranny.
