Not really sure how the rest of the 4th gen chassis will handle the RB26's torque. What are you doing about bracing in the rear, I honestly think that would be a bigger worry than the front because the motor sits there from the factory anyway. I've seen a 350Z making 500whp snap its rear subframe because of the frame flexing.

They are not at that part yet.the last time I tried to rush it and had to start over so they working their way back so I don't want to rush and mess up again so stand by for that the shaft is next, then rear subframe, fuel system and electrical last.

Shaft? As in drive shaft? How are they going to make a proper length driveshaft without the rear suspension and diff already figured out?

i guess that is all to be figured out.

But yea pay special attention to that area because the 4th gen was not made to be RWD so im pretty sure the rear end of the car is pretty soft and will need quite a bit of bracing. If it were up to me i would cage it and run some pretty beefy tie bars.

It's up staged where it has to be. The shop does professional drag cars so I am sure they will have it figured ou I do know that the drive shaft I have now is too long. Putting a cage in the car has come up but good question mr crusher. But this will be my weekend car I will not race it or anything unless I meet someone who think they have the fastest car on the street then I wil tape that *** up and leave them wondering what happened

LOL!

I bet!!!

So far so good though. So what exactly are they using for the tension rods on the front? (im refering to the brackets)

It may just be the angle of the pictures, but it looks like you wont be able to go very low as far as ride height, looks like you may have binding issues with the tension rod at low ride level..? Could be a problem if your planing on running alot of caster which i think would be beneficial to you...thoughts?

I may be completely talking out of my a$$...im more curious than anything...

S13 wont bolt up to RB. But Mckinney does make drive shaft conversions for the swap...im sure he is probably copping one of theirs since its at their shop still...right?
