The idea of an rb under the hood of a max would never pop in my head.

lol theres some whiny people in here, have you even LOOKED at the difference of the underside of a FWD and RWD car? you have to create a transmission tunnel, move the exhaust, move the gas tank, d1ck around with all of the rear suspension, make room for the driveshaft, and thats not even factoring in making room for a straight 6.

this stuff takes years to do properly, factor in how few FWD to RWD swaps are actually finished. and yeah, when youre changing the whole drivetrain of a car wires have to get pulled around. do you think he can use the VQ gauge cluster and everything or what? it takes time

I admire all the work you've done up to this point. I would never think of even attempting it so keep up the good work man. Some people don't realize how difficult a swap like this is.

You gota setup a meet in Cali before you bring the car back home though, lol ill drive down south to check this thing out in person hahaa

you planning on redoing the interior completely as well? Maybe its all just dust from it sitting around so long but the seats and interior look pretty trashed

Dude, you have no clue.
The whole point of this was to be unique.
Trust me, with all he has been through, the amount of dedication involved not too mention the money invested yes, he knows he couldve done a simple swap into a 240 but thats not what he wants.
The whole thread makes this obvious. You read the last page or two, see a pic and make quick judgements that arent needed.

So is the drivetrain complete now?
Just curious, cause if not Id think that would need to be addressed before changing up the powerplant.
Id be focused on getting everything to fit and operate as is before rebuidling the motor on a car thats still not driveable yet.
Anyways, good luck bro.

Same, get it running and to pass inspection. Then think about upgrades. Going to be cool when it is done.
