VQ30DET Crankshaft.

Cant seem to find the info I need... Im looking for the weight of stock VQ30 Crankshaft, as well as the VQ30DET crankshaft. If they are the same, then let me know. Someone mentioned it was Dan or Ceasar that weighed the stock crank, but I cant find where.

Reason I ask, is because of this:

Might be looking to buy in the future if its a lighter crank.

And while we're on topic, I read a post a while back from 03-04ish about Tilley wanting to get the stock crank lightened (see here). No one ever really got any numbers, or theoretical ones at that. Anyone got any ideas? My crank is still in the bottom end, otherwise I would take it somewhere and see what they say.

Rod journals on a VQ30DE crankshaft are 48 mm and the VQ30DET rod journals are 50 mm with the main crank journals the same size. So if both cranks are made from the same material the VQ30DET is a little bit heavier and you would also have to run VQ30DET connecting rods.
