whats really the purpose of trynna do 3.0 heads with 3.5 block if the 3.5 heads are better, is it just to do it?. that IM AJ showed looks really nice, but stupid expensive, so i agree with t6378p, i would just go FI

just for raised compression as far as I know. You have a bunch of room to port on the 3.0 heads though which greatly helps the flow characteristics. But for an all motor build, i'd much rather use 3.5 heads and raise the compression with proper pistons.

on the other hand, I already have the 3.0heads and would only need head gaskets and time to clean them up
And don't forget I don't plan on reving pass 72k so worked 3.0 heads will flow just fine. You guys forget vq heads 3.5 or not flow pretty darn good and if your not reving past 75k or boosted are fine in stock form

Ok so I really have been seeing alot of Hybrid motors and Strokers and the such which got me to this thread...lol. Not to yank it in a different direction but has the 3.0 with the 3.5 heads been done?? I too seem to have the ability to search for everything but I cant pull up any info on something like that. If the 3.5 Heads flow better and the cams are already a sorta S1 then wouldnt that be a decent swap as well???
Just curious and thinking aloud....carry on
