IMO even the tune changes the engine sound.
in his mods he listed OBX equal length headers

ME, the horny pirate.

I may not be able to make it to the track before install, because of finals and other crap and a week later i start my internship at a law firm so time is hard to come by but ill provide pics of fitment and what not with stock headers and fitment with ebay headers (granted they don't do anything but its a weight reduction for sure and heat shields have already been removed!)

After some thought on it I may keep the OBX because it looks sturdier than the Warpspeed plus it is SS where my Wrpspd is AlumSteel.

The front areas of the OBx are the same in diameter as the warpspeed the collecter on the obx is beefier but i can easily weld in a new flange and 3" area back if it fits right.

for now here is a sound clip of the my current exhaust setup

This is disappointing to read i was hoping this y pipe would work out. It does look like good quality though just sucks they would false advertise is bein 3" when its barely 2.25.

So are you saying the collector ID size on the OBX pipe are the same size as the warpspeed? If this y pipe was really 3" I was gonna have a shop modify the rear collector to be equal length

The flange from the header to the y pipe is the same size. The obx collecter is slightly bigger but after the collector its smaller so im going to modify the rear half of it and do. 3" pipe back to where the testpipe is

yeah just the shorties. Ive got to install my polly motor mounts and a radiator upper hose so why not take a few extra steps to install some lighter exhaust manifolds. i should have this all installed by wends

I was supposed to go to the track Saturday but got called in for work.

Ill have sound clips after install. I dont think it will sound a whole lot different, but who knows

You dont think it will sound any different? What was you exhaust setup before these?

Right now im 3.5 swapped but ive got shorty headers and 2.5 ebay exhaust. SERIOUSLY choking the engine im sure. I wanna stick with the shorties though and get a bigger ypipe/3" exhaust thats mainly why i looked at the OBX Ypipe
