Erratic MAF behavior/readings

As you can see, my MAF readings are fluctuating greatly! Is the sensor going out? is it normal? The variance are up to .6 volt in one oscillation!

This makes tuning extremely hard, since in such a short time it jumps around in between stock fuel maps, and then also in between my fuel maps. U can see how zigzaggy my AFR is as well.

Do all of you guys have that great of a variance?

For FI people I thought of a way to fix it by eliminating the MAF, and either having a map conversion chart but the other thing I thought off was to simply force out a constant MAF voltage. If the ECU thinks it's getting the same voltage all the time it would force the Injector length to be the same. The only difference would be RPM based variance.

Nevertheless that would eliminate one variable out of the equation, and since we still have the MAP sensor in place we can still tune for all the different conditions. It should make for at least a much more even looking tuning map.

Any opinions? The main feedback I'm looking for is the MAF issue tho.

Well I think the ECU would throw a code if you sent a static voltage to the MAF input. Not sure exactly how it would respond. You'd basically lose all closed loop functionality I would think

I disconncted my primary O2s anyways, to purposefully force it into open loop so that the ECU won't try to readjust for my changes.
