Why does no one do VQ35 rebuilds?

with same situation and 99 maxima VQ30DE engine
At one side there is japanese engine from scrap which cost me 1000$ with 30 days warranty ,
and other side mechanics said there labor charge is 550$ ...
they didnt said anything on the cost of parts which i wil buy
they said you can buy oem parts or the other.
my car smoke is normal ... just it was hesitating due to oil in spark plugs,
now its hesitating hell too much ... mechanics said your two cylinders not working ... many times it turns off at red signal and immediately i start again.
I am so confused and here in middle east there is no good mechanics.
how much parts will cost me for total rebuilt.

FWIW, I just now got my refund on the last bum engine.. So, I am again shopping for a replacement.
Buying a "High Performance" rebuild, or rebuilding myself are still options I am considering.
I found a few places on line that will build an engine for me, but they are all far away and the few that responded to my email query gave some answers I did not like. For example, if I am spending big money on a performance rebuild I would expect them to give a reasonable warranty on the engine!
Still open to advice.

rebuild kits are like $1100 + labor.

Personally I would just try and find one at a local yard or on craigslist.
fwiw engine builds don't gain much HP at all, especially NA. It just so they can take the abuse of track days and or high boost depending on how you build it.

I have plenty of tools, thanks.. Looking for a "pro" to do it mostly because I am getting lazy, and I would expect someone who has done this particular engine before to know the "right" way to do it.
The possibility of me buying a kit, and doing it myself is still under consideration.
