Ive searched and searched, But Can I Use My DEK Intake manifold on the 3.5 motor?


I Got a 3.5 block & Heads,But nothing else came with it. I know ill need Cam Gears, And what about IACV?

Only if you are going to boost it since the compression ratio is going to drop to around 8.8 or so.
Conversely, 3.0 heads on a 3.5 block will raise the compression ratio to approximately 11.55

I learned the hard way, just swap the whole VQ35. I was at the junkyard the other and got some coils off a 3.5. If you need the intake manifold let me know. You can paypal me the cost and shipping of the parts and I can pull them for you.

 

you can, not worth it. the 00vi, while a great IM, doesn't flow enough for the 3.5
