Does anyone have dimensions for an intake block off plate for a 2002 to make my own . And what kind of steel to use Thanks . Any suggestions from people who have made their own would be appreciated .

Why steel? Might as well use Al. And just for fun, why not remove yours and take dimensions.

. Well I work in a steel fabrication shop . We do structural ironwork so steel is readily available and have all the machines to cut and put holes in it . Figured I could measure myself but was looking for anything that would make it more Complicated then just slapping a piece of metal on with holes in it . I guess not ??

Unless you want some sort of design on it, the functionality is really that, just a plate with a bolt pattern that bolts to the IM.

ok thanks . I'm gonna try it making it myself . Just for the experiment .

Why not just remove the power rod? Seems like the thing to do these days on the DEK, even more so if it's 5MT.

can I just chop of the flap that opens and closes ( sorry I don't know the correct name for it) why not rite ?

The 00-01 are different than the 02-03, and I was speaking to nestor since it seems as if he has an 00-01, but, that is an option even in the case of the 02-03. That's how mine is.
