Vq35 CP piston in 30 block

Good day my friends

I didn't want to do custom pistons but getting 35 pistons is a lot more easy .

Do 35 pistons fit on 30 block ?
What crank should I use ?
What roads should I use ?

you would have to bore it out like 2mm, as far as crank you will have to use the rods from the crank you use, it would be possible to go either way once you bore it, but for what it would take you would be better off using a 35 block to start with, don't know if the 30 would take the bore

3.0 and 3.5 is the same block with different bore diameters. 93mm/95.5mm respectively.

but will the 30 cylinder sleeves take the 2.5mm over bore?

Just buy a VQ35. Why bother with a 3.0 block with 3.5 pistons it just makes no sense. the 3.5 is just better, same block, about bottom ends, MUCH BETTER heads and intake manifold.

Buy the 3.5 long block. They are cheap actually. Add VQ35HR pistons. A thick cometic HG(there is specific thickness you need to buy i cant remember off the top of my head just go in the all motor section and search you'll find it) and it will have a compression ration of around 11:1, add rev-up oil pump, JWT valve springs and C2 cams if you were planing to stay NA. All of this would cost as much as it would just fit the 3.5 pistons in a 3.0 block and will make more power.

First of all what exactly are you trying to achieve?
