Angry 2005 SE-r

Okay, I'm new to this VQ stuff. Don't know really a lot about Nissan's so I'm going to ask this question.......But I have a 2005 SE-r 6MT Just had my motor lock up on me, I really don't know much about Nissan's. Just trying to figure out somethings. I found a 08 max engine with 117k miles on it for $450, then I found a 2004 max engine with 95k for $600. Which VQ would you guys prefer from the 2? How long would it take to take on out and put another back in. Also what tools would I need to do the swap?

for starters go with the cheaper motor, as 04 and 08 are the same one AFAIK. If you want a nicer motor look at 2009+. After that idk, if im reading this correctly youre asking a maxima forum about swapping a VQ35 into either an altima or a sentra. The questions youre asking are very basic and could be found on google or even using the search bar on this forum. Id suggest digging a little more because the answers you seek are indeed out there if you look more.
