bose problem

i posted a thread earlier about the problem i am having with my bose HU (the display will randomly go out and it says there is a cd in the player when there isnt). i got areply from someone that said it could be a loose or broken connector. is this right? if so, how can i check to see if it is a loose connection? please let me know.

thanks

its very common. the display on the bose tends to die over time. i replaced mine with a kenwood deck. you just have to get an adapter for an aftermarket headunit. dont listen to anyone who says it wont work or it will sound like crap... it works great. probably a better deal to replace than repair the bose however.

here;s your problem, get rid of the bose totally, so you can work with a deck, speakers and possibly box that will not fail you and not have electrical and other problems, it will sound better and just add to the value of your car. Let me know if your interested man, ill help you out on what to look for.
