Recommendations on subs and amps...
Ok time to update the stereo again. A brief overview of the current setup:
Basically my aim is to get the entire stereo setup to sound cleaner and punchier when louder and a bit bassier, not overkill. Im tired of having to lower the bass levels when I turn the volume up (types of music i typically listen to, or like to blast in case this helps - mainly rock such as ac/dc, zeppelin, metallica, ozzy etc) Im not willing to put a total fortune into the stereo, or get crazy with custom work...maybe later on I will. For now any suggestions/recommendations/thoughts are all welcomed, TIA.

i've had only positive experiences with rockford amps, particularly the 500x (4-channel) (4 of which i've already installed for various friends) as far as subs: i think you only need one. since metallica and led zep and most rock do not need sooo much bass as lets say Dr. Dre, Nelly and the rest of the rap/hip hop genre.
