I have a '93 Max/SE with a manual tran.
Has the stock Bose Radio/Tape.

Yesterday electrical smoke started pouring out of front window defroster vents and out of the slide siwtch for the heater/ac fan.

The unit no longer powers up. Nor does the antenna.

fuse did not immed. blow, in fact, appears wiring or something melted completely before the fuse popped.

Inserting a new fuse results in additioal "burn" smell and smoke.

anyone ever see/hear of this?

Seems weird that the fuse did not blow until well after the meltdown occurred.
