need help hooking up an amp using speaker level inputs

hello guys,

my friend has a 96 taurus and i'm trying to install a kenwood amp for him. he has the factory head unit so no rca's... the amp has speaker level inputs. + and - for the left and the same for the right.

how do i hook these up? do i just tap into the rear speakers using speaker wire? can anyone explain this for me?

thanks!

chris

What I would do is buy a pac inverter. What that does is convert your speaker input into rca's. They are about $20 and all you have to do is connect them to your rear speakers
