IASCA info...

Contrary to what a few people have said. IASCA is doing great. I have read threads here and there about topics such as IASCA going out of buisiness,Bankrupt,etc...Simply put, DONT believe the HYPE.

I just spoke to Paul and MaryEllen(owners) and they personally told me not only is it "alive and kicking" but getting even better next year !!

Just thought this might be useful info for some of the people who may have heard this ridiculous RUMOR.

Iasca has had severel probs over the last few years that resulted in haveing lost just about everything...Paul bought it and is in the process of rebuilding it and making it even better than b4. Now he just has to wade through the bad crap, but Iasca will indeed continue to carry on fine.

j/k

But yeah Slap is another form of what Iasca provides and a great comp place, terry has done a great job putting it together, but most Iasca guys arn't leaving Iasca they are doing Slap as well as Iasca, and I belive that they are working on a point sharing system. I incorage everybody to check out and support both.

Yeah there is no doubt that with Slap getting hooked up with Tweeter there is now alot more shows for them, and that puts pressure on Iasca to get the littler stores to do their shows...Almost like Usac, you can't find um some places, but all three offer certain different good things and all are worth competing in.

slap does a lot of smaller car audio stores also. I have to judge almost everywhere everyweekend. it's cool though. i had a show today and yesterday. But the BIG shows are at tweeter. i like slap for the fact that you can enter your car in the car show also. they have done a very good job and put a lot of work into it.

Yeah no doubt, I'm not taking away from what Terry has put together, I just like to see all get the proper look...Just trying to keep the sport alive, it needs all the help it can get.
