Installing 2 Subs

I've hooked up my amp to my subs but have a question about the RCA cables. Currently i have my rca cable hooked up to the rear channel on my unit. If i have 2 subs and just one set of rca cables running from my head unit do i just use the wire splitters to make 2 sets of rca cables to i can send signal for both subs in my sub input or is there another way?

Thanks

If you have two subs, your preouts do not matter, unless of course you have two amps running them. Whenever you use "y-splitters" it reduces your signal, the voltage of it and the quality. If you have one amp, then just the one set of preouts is fine, if you have two amps, then check your amp for a "pass-thru" output on one of them. If your amp is a four channel, and you are thinking that you need a second set because of the four channels, there should be a parallel switch on your amp, making it possible to run the whole amp with only one set.

A little bit more info on what you have would greatly help in making a solution for you.
