I successfully installed my system and SWI-X controller. It does work, but I have a programming question. Some of the buttons on the steering wheel perform different functions depending upon source. For instance, there are two buttons that select preset radio stations while on FM or AM tuners. These same buttons skip to next/previous track while on CD mode. Also, my remote on new head unit does not have a "source" button, it has a seperate button for each source. How do I make "mode" button on steering wheel cycle through the sources on head unit?

More than likely you can not do what you want to do. The SWI-X will only mimic what your remote can do. If you run out of buttons to perform all these functions, then you are stuck. I'm pretty sure that I won't be able to use my steering controls ro fully control my stereo, but close is better than none at all!!
