Need aftermarket HU advise

Putting together my moble audio/video system and need the last component.

I'm looking for a single din A/V/CD/AM/FM reciever HU that does NOT have a fold out screen/monitor. I'm installing a 7 inch screen in the double din slot and need a single din HU as a reciever. The overall plan for the car is the single 7" in the front, two 5.6"'s in the head rest, PS2, and upgraded speakers with amps. I would perfer a HU that has a black face when turned off like the Sony Xploid's utilize.

Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Doug D

I have the Alpine CDA-7894 and am very happy with it.

Re: Need aftermarket HU advise

I can also recommend the Alpine 7894. There is a nice little adapter you can buy that will give you an AV input. The SQ is very good as well. If you are mounting it where the coin tray is the deck also has an angle feature so you can angle it up a little since the tray is a little low.
