B-quiet Lcomp installed (pics)

Today I finally got around to using the rolls of Lcomp I bought from B-quiet. I used 16 square feet, but was able to cover basically all of the 4 door panels. This stuff is serious. The car is definitely quieter than it was before. There's about 0 road noise coming from the doors now. My front components and rear fill sound way better now too. The door panels are much heavier now. As a result, they don't rattle, squeak, or buzz like they could before (at loud volume levels). All in all the difference is huge. There's less road noise and the soundstage is better and the speakers sound clearer.
Here's a picture of the front and back doors panels:

Very nice! I'm glad you are happy with the results! I might have to follow your lead.
Does it stick to your door similar to asphalt-based damping sheets? It looks almost like it's loosely applied, but I know better.
How long did it take you? Any other install details you care to share?
Good job.
Tony

If you've never used 3M Spray adhesive don't use it indoors unless you want sticky all over everything (it's like spray paint it gets everwhere).
It takes a little creativity to form it to the back side of the door panels. When you get one side formed and the holes all cut out for the door handle and controls the trick is to take it out lay it on the rest of the sheet of Lcomp (make sure you have the smooth black side to the smooth black side on the other piece because you need a mirror image for the other side) and use the one side as a template for the other.
I think it took me maybe 4-5 hours. The back two doors went faster because I learned on the front two. If you plan to do this with only 2 rolls you'll need to use the small scraps (that you cut out for handles and controls) and what not to fill in the side. The sheets are only 4' by 2' so you take about a 2' by 2' square per side. You cut down the curve of the door and then use the scraps to get the rest of the door panel (obviously you know the doors are wider than 2'). You can see what I'm talking about on the right hand side of the first picture. It's like a jigsaw puzzle.
If you have any other questions, just ask.

I should probably also point out that I have 1 layer of Peel and Seal on the inside of the door. I put a 2nd layer right behind the cones. I also put 1 layer of Peel and Seal over the plastic liner that Nissan puts in the doors (I did this to stop it from buzzing).

if anything you should have added another layer to the door itself. Tear off the plastic liner and replace it with that stuff you got. I did just the actual doors with Dynamat Xtreme and that took out 98% of all road noise i had in the car at cruise.
then again i get Dynamat at cost and had the time to do my rear doors that dont even have speakers in them, lol!
my.o2!
