Installing Amp & Subs.

Hi, I'm trying to find a Firewall for the Power wire in my 99 SE. Can't seem to find it. I look behind glove box, driving pedals, and I Don't see any when I pop the hood. Maybe someone can help me out.

Thanks.

Look inside the engine bay, towards the right side as you look into it from the front... Find the fuel filter against the firewall... now go straight up about 2-3 inches, and you will see a rubber plug, remove it, and you have access through the firewall...

Look around the master cylinder. You should be able to find that rubber plug. It's only about a 1/2" so look carefully. If you do a search, I remember someone asked this before and another member posted a pic, maybe you can find that pic.

Another location that is almost always available on ANY car....

Remove the driver's side front fenderwell plastic covering (look in the wheelwell). There should be a rubber grommet with wires running into the car from the engine bay. Poke a hole in it and run your wire through there.

When you're in the car, the wire will come out on the driver's side above the kick panel. It'll be a little higher up than where the fuse box is. Almost directly behind the fuse box, but up a little higher, and all the way to the left of the car (almost towards the side panel instead of the engine bay).

I've used this location on every install I've ever done, and have yet to run into a car that didn't have this spot.
