I have a Non-Bose 2k and I was wondering if 2k2 Bose headunit will work in my car (Assuming I get the cobymoby's RCA adapter and add amplifier for the speakers). Anybody have any experience with this ?

The reason for this is that I hate the way aftermarket headunit looks in my car(I have a Pioneer with a GXE Vent kit). and 6cd changer in dash would be nice

 

You might hate it ... but the new bose does not even come close. I just ripped it out. Paid for the bose thing 1000 extra but the head unit that's made by clarion... just sucks. Immediate difference in sound once I put my pioneer in ... even without replacing the amps.

P.S. I have that brand new unit for sale .. .bose from 2k3.

 

Anone else wants to comment on feasibility of the swap ?. for example do they use the same harness for power/spekers signal or if cobymoby's/crutchfiled's adapter takes care of all the connections ?

Oh, and Spiky, I'll keep you in mind if I decide to get it.
