2k1 I30t - Navigation question

Hi guys,

My 2001 i30t didn't come with navi. Has anyone installed it into their i30? I was just wondering how difficult it was to get in and wire up.

Thanks for any info!

Re: 2k1 I30t - Navigation question

Do you want the factory nav or an aftermarket unit? I'm not sure if you can add the factory nav, I know it would cost a bunch if you could. There are a number of ways you can go about adding an aftermarket though. You can add a smaller screen somewhere or you can buy an in-dash TV screen and use that for the nav.

Yeah, i wanted the stock navi. I love how it pops up out of the console. I'm sure installing it will not be the easiest task. My main concern is how it's wired up. I dunno if it's a harness that replaces another harness, or if it's just a few wires (power, neg, remote maybe, etc.).
