i dunno about the highs but i put 2 jbl 12's and 2 profile amps in a friends civic and it hit but i wasnt to impressed with the subs, he paid 100 each for their low end dvc subs and he ended up blowing them within like 4 months and replacing them with fosgate that sound a lot better and have held up so far, i've had fosgates in my car since they changed the style of them and they've held up pretty nice, i've blown one he but only because of my own stupidty...just sumthin for you to think about...later

I've been very happy with my eclipse 8062 6.5 components in the front of my car. I blew the tweeters but that was my fault and they are being replaced under the 3 year warranty.

They were $240.

Why don't you get matching speakers in front if you think the rear ones are so amazing?

Well, you spent that much on the rear speakers, right? You should concentrate on your front speakers. If you're going to skimp, then you should do so on the rear ones, not the front...unless you sit in the back seats more than the front.

You may as well move the rears to the front and put some lower end Bostons in the rear. I'm running RM6s in the back and they are very nice indeed, but I only hear them if I fade it far to the back. They cost me 100 on ebay, I may replace them with some infinities to match my Kappa Perfects up front, just out of analness and having the brand match all around. Yeah, I know. I need help

or...how 'bout bring the one's in the rear to the front...forget the rear fill because it really isn't that important and use the extra cash to buy a quality sub and two amps...one for the subs and one for your components

Oh no no no!! That's perfectly normal! What you are experiencing is nothing more than timbre matching. Meaning, you want a piano to sound like the same piano whether it's coming from your front or rear speakers. I'm the same way, as are most audiophiles.

Now we're talkin! That's the logic I tried on myself when I decided to do it. I always match in home audio, but I rarely hear the rear fill so I'm glad I have some mental backup for my ******* plans
