I guy I work with is trying to sell me his 2 12" AudioBahn with bandpass box, but no amp, for $200. They work fine according to him, but I couldn't actually hear them yet since his radio was stolen from his car. But I was wondering if this was a good deal or not. The reason he is selling them is because he enlisted in the Army, and won't have a use for them anymore.

2 12" subs. I don't know a specific model, but they're made by Audiobahn.

 

audiobanh makes subs ranging from $70, to $300+. It would be benneficial to you to find out exactly what they are before buying them.

 

It sounds like one of the Audiobahn pre-built boxes, but that's not a real good thing. They throw the low end ones in the pre fabs, if it was a Flame or an Alum setup, it should cost more, otherwise you get the paper cone types that take some power, but aren't near the quality of the high end models. Look on ebay and see if you can find pics that are similar.

 

If the box is also made by Audiobahn, then avoid this setup. Audiobahn sells some nice looking bandpass boxes but the woofers are crap. I had a friend blow both woofers only giving the subs their rated power. They didn't sound good either....
