Bose CDR?

I have a 98 Maxima SE with the Bose system. It used to play all CDs really good but now it starts to ship and distort really bad after it plays a couple of tracks from a burned CDR. It still plays regular discs good. I got one of those cleaner CDs and it didn't help at all. Is there anything I can do or is the head unit roached? If it is I was thinking of getting a cheap Alpine with a line converter to use the Bose Amps. How does an aftermarket deck work with the Bose amps and speakers?

Thanks,

Pat

Multiwave (www.mwave.com) has 74-minute CD-R media. I've bought a lot of stuff from them and never had a problem.
