subs are nice they hit hard... i got the 12 w3's n satisfied with them but those are much better

well what about those JL 12W6 compared to 2 12" Alpine Type R's? is it a close comp?

I use to have 2 12" w3, now i have 2 12" type R's. and MY GOD is there a difference, its like...Sony-Focal...its NUTS!
