Amp for Focal Subs?

What would be a good amp to power two 11" Focal PolyKevlar subs? Are these good subs for a maxima, and if so, what kinda of options/ suggestions are there for mounting them? aka, what kind of box, where to get it, etc.

Thanks

Yes there good subs...Best suggestion would be about 1.0 cube per sub sealed...Right behind teh seat firing forward or up. As for where to get it...Go custom.

What about an amp for it? Anything specific in terms of watts needed and brands to look at.

Well lets see..the two subs and the pioneer headunit I want total about $950. I'm not looking to spend like 700 dollars on the amp or anything, but maybe about 500. Also, I'm going for a nice mix between SQ and heavy bass, so I was wondering if I should look into a component speaker system? Or just some individual front or rear or both speakers? What would you recommend. I dont really understand what you get when you buy a component speaker package. Also, if I get some new speakers, would you recommend powering them off a seperate...say...200 watt amp? So basically:

-500 for the sub amp
-new speakers?
-component or individual?
-seperate amp? (brand, power suggestions?)

OK theres a couple of ways to go here...New (retail) or used...First somewhat off subject but I would like to say like I tend to that power is usally heavily over rated. As for amps for the subs on the retail level, check out Eclipse, zapco, alpine, P.G., Kicker, J.L. audio...But of those three I suggest checking out Eclipe and J.L. audio and the zapco AG line or if you want to step up to real great high end stuff the zapco comp line.

As for looking into a componet setup, Yes...I would need a price range on that too...But what you get is flexability usally alot better more natural sound...And if you really want it to sound good a nice set of custom kicks are good to go with to. As for putting speakers in the rear, i don't like that personally cuz thats not like a concert...But most do it's a personal thing, but to me it's a waste of money. Yes you should amplifi the front speakers...As for power usally anywhere between 50-150 (true) clean watts per speaker is fine, kinda depends just how loud you want it.

Now here is one other option to consider...I have three zapco z200's that I had in my car ( you can see them on my homepage) that I am selling...All three for $650 new each one was 650. Specs can be seen at zapco.com If you interested or want to know more let me know.
