Re: radar detector anygood?

Radar detectors are amazing, And I'm going to have to say the V1 (I got one) is the best. The whistler is good, but the V1 is better. My friend has a whistler and it keeps on going off in the middle of nowhere with X band, we could be in a desert and it would still be chirpin. The V1 is good for several reasons. 1) it has a long *** range 2) it has arrows, holy ****, arrows save you 3)number of signals 4)its sick, i don't care how much it costs.

It might cost 400, but now you can drive fast and not worry about it. It will soon begin to pay for itself. *******, the Max should come stock with one of these things.

all IMHO of course.

Re: radar detector anygood?

Always keep in mind that any RADAR detector is only as good as the operator. A good supply of common sense goes a long way in this category. Someone who expects detectors to "do away" with speeding tickets will probably get a lot more of them after buying one.

Very well said and totally accurate. Those who think that because they have a "good" unit are immune to tickets are the one's who will soon be pulled over for acting like a fool. Radar detectors are only a tool, operator error goes a long way to making that tool totally worthless.
